At HCD we're both the developer and the builder. As a developer, we listen to what the residential market says about new trends in architecture, zoning and utilities. As a builder, we work closely with you as a team in designing your new home. HCD has developed and refined a proactive customer-centric development process to ensure that owners like you are involved at every critical stage of construction. It's a chance for you to learn about the quality materials and proven construction processes that form the foundation of your new home. It's also an opportunity for you to enjoy the unique experience of watching a dream take shape. We can work with your ideas, or utilize existing plans that we have (see design gallery) the choice is yours! Either way, you're assured of creating a unique home that reflects your individual tastes and needs. Have a tight budget? No Problem! We can arrange financing and can assist you by breaking up expenses into an affordable payment schedule.
Home Design Selection

Step One: Home Design Selection- The first step is of course the careful selection of a design or the fun of designing your new home from the ground up. If you choose an existing design customization is encouraged. Each family has its own individual needs, requirements and life style. We consider it our obligation to see that these goals are realized in the construction of each unique home. Our design team is always available to advise and assist you in the design of additional space, layout changes, room configurations to accommodate furnishings, finished recreation areas, pool- patio-deck plans, etc. Once a floorplan is decided upon our designers present you with life-like renderings of the exterior and interior, including, master bedroom, living room, kitchen and hallways.
Pre-Construction Meeting

Step Two: Pre-Construction Meeting - Before construction begins, you are guided through the entire building process, starting with a meeting to introduce the construction team and to answer any questions regarding the construction timetable.
Pre-DryWall Frame Work

Step Three: Pre-Drywall Frame Work - Prior to drywall installation, a HCD construction professional gives you a guided tour, allowing you to inspect the inner workings of your home, view its quality components, verify optional features you have selected, and ask questions.
Quality Assuarance Inspection

Step Four: Quality Assurance Inspection - Before your final walk-through, HCD conducts its own quality control check to ensure everything is in proper working order and up to quality standards. Any needed repairs or touch-ups are made and the home is thoroughly cleaned in preparation for the Pre-Closing Orientation.
Pre-Closing Orientation

Step Five: Pre-Closing Orientation - When your home is finished, HCD customer managers will take you on a room-by-room tour to demonstrate the quality features and operating procedures for all aspects of your home, as well as explain our service procedures.
30-Day Follow-Up

Step Six: 30-Day Follow-Up - Once you are all settled in, we check back by letter, phone, or even by a knock on the door to ensure continued satisfaction.
